Chalet Alena sits in a small hamlet just above the village of Les Gets, close to the slopes. The edge of the piste, where the blue Bruyère and Gentiane pistes converge, is a 100-metre walk away, and a short ski down (around 500 metres) brings you to the drag lifts, the Chavannes gondola and the Chavannes Express chairlift for the Morzine-Les Gets ski area. The Mont Chéry gondola is a 4-minute drive, and the centre of Les Gets, with its shops, bars and restaurants, is a 3-5 minute drive or a 12-15 minute walk downhill.
