Massive is an understatement when it comes to Paradiski, which is set across three resorts: Les Arcs, La Plagne, and Peisey-Vallandry. The interlinked area boasts 425 kilometres of ski runs, with seventy percent of its slopes sitting at an altitude of over 200 metres.
Whether exploring the endless groomed pistes, tackling unbeatable off-piste options and epic snowparks, or indulging in a spot of year-round glacier skiing, you’re guaranteed a mind-blowing experience amongst the staggeringly beautiful Savoie region of France.
Les Arcs packs 200 kilometres of runs and is spread across several resort villages. The towering presence of the region’s largest peak, Aiguille Rouge, dominates the skyline and boasts one of Europe’s longest uninterrupted runs, the 7-kilometre Aiguille Rouge Run that stretches from the Aiguille glacier to the peaceful village of Villaroger.
Known for its sunny slopes, ski-in /ski-out properties, and mix of high-altitude skiing and forested trails, Les Arcs provide ample action for all abilities. It connects to the resort of La Plagne via the iconic Vanoise Express.
This purpose-built cable car is a highlight for visitors to Paradiski and opens up the vast terrain of the three resorts. Boasting double-decker cabins that can carry up to 200 passengers, the journey between Les Arc and La Plagne takes only four minutes. From the unique vantage point of the cabins, the spectacular scenery of the Vanoise National Park unfolds itself in all its glory.
La Plagne encompasses eleven interconnected villages, is the largest area of the three resorts and is a particular favourite with families. This vast ski area offers plenty of iconic skiing experiences, from year-round skiing and snowboarding on the Bellecote glacier to abundant off-piste options such as the famed North Face of Bellecote (experts only) to soaking in the panoramic mountain views from the top of Grande Rochette, which offers excellent runs for intermediate skiers.
Situated between Les Arcs and La Plagne is the smaller resort of Peisey-Vallandry. Its tranquil atmosphere, picturesque surroundings, and rich alpine heritage offer a more relaxed experience. Its position at the heart of Paradiski makes it an ideal spot to explore the wider area with direct access to the Vanoise Express. Cross-country skiers can take advantage of over 40 kilometres of cross-country trails in the Peisey-Nancroix Valley as well as a host of other activities such as winter hiking, sledging and dogsledding.
