Set at 2,100 metres in the heart of Tignes, Chalet Arolla is an exceptional 370m² ski-in/ski-out chalet combining contemporary Alpine luxury with the warmth and character of a traditional mountain retreat. Sleeping up to 18 guests across four floors, it is an impressive choice for families and groups looking for space, comfort and outstanding access to the slopes.
The chalet’s interiors blend old wood, natural materials and bespoke furnishings with a refined contemporary finish. At the heart of the property is a beautiful, light-filled living area where guests can gather around the fire while enjoying sweeping mountain views. An impressive dining table seats all 18 guests, complemented by a stylish kitchen and bar area, creating a wonderfully sociable setting for long dinners and relaxed evenings together.
Accommodation includes five double bedrooms, a bunk room and a separate studio, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for larger groups. The self-contained studio has its own kitchen and bathroom and can accommodate four guests, while an elevator connects the chalet’s four floors.
One of Chalet Arolla’s highlights is its superb private wellness area. After a day on the mountain, guests can unwind in the Jacuzzi, sauna and hammam, or make use of the cold bath for post-ski recovery. There is also a private fitness room, while massages and treatments can be arranged on request.
For relaxed evenings at home, the chalet features a dedicated home cinema with an 82-inch screen and Bose 5.1 sound system, alongside Apple TV, a PlayStation 4, games and its own bar.
The location is equally impressive. Chalet Arolla sits directly by the slopes, with the Chaudannes and Paquis chairlifts less than 100 metres away, allowing guests to ski back to the chalet door. The shops and amenities of Tignes Le Lavachet and Tignes Le Lac are around a 5–10 minute walk away, while the nearby resort bus provides easy connections to Tignes Val Claret and Val d’Isère.
