Chalet Col Pers sits in the peaceful hamlet of Le Fornet at the top end of Val d’Isère, on the sunny side of the valley, with the Le Fornet gondola around 150 metres away: a 2-3 minute walk, or a minute by car. The gondola gives direct access to the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area, and restaurants sit at the foot of it just across the road. The main snow front of Val d’Isère, with the Solaise gondola, the Olympique cable car, nursery slopes and ski school meeting points, is a 5-minute drive with the driver service, and the centre of Val d’Isère, with its restaurants, bars and boutiques, is 4-5 minutes by car, around 2 km away.
