Chalet des Légendes sits in the exclusive Les Balmes enclave of Val d’Isère, slightly elevated and quieter than the centre, around 500 metres from the main snow front. The Olympique cable car, Solaise gondola and Bellevarde lifts, with nursery slopes and ski school meeting points, are a 5-6 minute walk or a 2-4 minute drive away. The main high street, with its bars, restaurants and boutiques, is only about 300 metres away, and the centre of resort is a 5-6 minute walk (up to 700 metres) or a 2-4 minute drive.
