Our grandparents, Angèle and Louis Sallier, were esteemed figures in this mountain village, which has now become a world-renowned ski capital. This chalet, known as “Le 1946,” holds a significant place in our family’s history. Initially built on Mamie Angèle’s garden in 2001, it underwent a complete renovation in 2021.

“Le 1946” is a tribute to the creation of the resort, the construction of the first ski lift, the first grooming machine, and, above all, to our beloved Papi Louis, who contributed to these milestones with his own hands.

Perfectly situated near village shops, bars, restaurants, and the new gondola providing access to Courchevel 1850 in just 8 minutes, our chalet seamlessly combines authenticity with contemporary elegance. Its rich history and sense of luxury are sure to captivate you.

The open kitchen in your chalet features reclaimed wood and Zimbabwe granite, complete with a central island for ample space and comfort. After skiing, gather around for a delightful afternoon tea that we’ve prepared in advance. Coffee and wine lovers will appreciate the self-service Jura bean coffee machine and the wine cellar with an excellent selection. The dining room, with a large table seating up to 14 people, sets the stage for cherished moments with your loved ones.

Relax on a long winter evening with a comfortable contemporary Italian sofa and the warmth of a crackling wood fire in the beautiful stone fireplace. An array of TV platforms offers a wide selection of movies and series for the entire family’s enjoyment.

Bedroom Carline: On the first floor, this exquisite bedroom combines authentic mountain style with contemporary chic. It features a separate WC, a spacious shower room with double basins that opens into the bedroom, and soothing muted tones reflecting the starlit winter sky.

Bedroom Violette: Bright and spacious, this room boasts gorgeous orange tones and a south-facing balcony. The king-size bed can be separated into twins, and the bathroom offers a spacious double bathtub, perfect for relaxation.

Bedroom Sabot de Venus: Elegantly clad with wood, this beautiful room includes a large balcony to enjoy the first rays of the sun. It has a spacious bathroom with double basins and a desk for those who wish to stay connected during their mountain holiday.

Bedroom Edelweiss: With a high ceiling and spacious balcony, this room exudes timeless charm. It offers plenty of storage space, an adjoining bathroom, and one of the most comfortable queen beds available. The balcony provides stunning views of the snowy forest of Le Praz.

Bedroom Gentiane: Though the smallest room in the chalet, this bedroom is well-appointed and perfect for our youngest guests. It has a skylight that transports guests into an enchanted universe.

To enhance your relaxation, “Le 1946” includes an indoor wellness area equipped with a hot tub, a sauna, and a hammam. This cocooning space is entirely dedicated to your well-being and features herbal tea, fruits, dried fruits, and a Bluetooth speaker for your music preferences.

In the morning, wake up to warm, dry ski boots and equipment ready for action—the slopes await! The ski room is shared with “Le 1992” chalet, making it an excellent meeting point between the two properties to share the day’s excitement. We provide drinks and cereal bars to ensure you make the most of the 600km of slopes in the majestic 3 Valleys ski area. With skis ready, it’s time to hit the slopes and create unforgettable winter memories.
