Dufourspitz Lodge

Dufourspitz Lodge is an exceptional luxury residence currently under construction, scheduled for completion in October 2025. Architecturally designed by Studio Birk with interiors by Adelene Smith Ng, this elegant townhouse blends contemporary design with bespoke detailing, creating a serene retreat in the exclusive Matterhorn village of Zermatt.

The lodge features five beautifully styled king bedrooms, each furnished with Vi-Spring beds, Porto Romana lighting, bespoke Robert Langford headboards and bedside tables, and refined Corston fittings. Flexible box-spring beds can be arranged as super-kings or twins. Every bedroom includes handcrafted built-in birch wardrobes, natural wool carpets with underfloor heating, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. Master bathrooms offer a bath, separate shower and WC, while secondary bathrooms feature Val-stone floors, tadelakt walls, a walk-in shower, Cielo basin and cabinetry, and WC.

The spacious living area is designed for relaxation and entertaining, with an open fireplace, south-facing balconies, breathtaking Matterhorn views, and an OLED TV with soundbar. Smoked oak herringbone flooring by Trunk, custom Love You Home sofas, Tom Faulkner consoles and carefully curated designer furnishings combine to create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere. The adjoining dining area features a walnut Carl Hansen table and chairs, comfortably seating up to twelve guests.

The kitchen is a fully fitted, handcrafted birch-wood space equipped with premium V-ZUG appliances, including an oven, combi-oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine and wine fridge.

Finished to the highest standards throughout, Dufourspitz Lodge offers access to all floors via an elegant oak spiral staircase or a private lift.

Guests also enjoy access to a shared wellness area with an indoor swimming pool, swim jet, sauna, steam room, outdoor jacuzzi and a compact fitness room. A dedicated treatment room is available, where an in-house therapist offers a range of treatments including Swedish massage, Indian head massage, full-body and foot massages, as well as manicures, pedicures and facials.

This exquisite 240 m² lodge is ideally located just 100 metres from the Klein Matterhorn Express and boasts magnificent views of the Matterhorn and Höhbalmen.

Adjacent to Dufourspitz Lodge is Lyskamm Lodge, accommodating up to eight guests across four bedrooms. Within the same complex are Horu and Tête Blanche Lodges, as well as the El Alamein and Gerwetsch Suites, which can be booked individually or in combination—ideal for larger groups seeking additional space and privacy.

The centre of the village is an easy eight-minute walk away, while the Klein Matterhorn lift is just one minute on foot.
