Granite Mountain Estate

Granite Mountain Lodge is an exceptional private luxury chalet in Chamonix, combining the warmth and privacy of a family home with the facilities and personalised service of a boutique mountain hotel. Completed in 2024 and set within more than 7,000 m² of private grounds, it enjoys panoramic views towards Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi, yet is only around a 12-minute walk from the centre of Chamonix.

Spanning more than 680 m², the chalet was custom designed as a private family residence rather than a conventional rental property. Contemporary alpine interiors, natural materials and expansive windows create a sophisticated but relaxed atmosphere. At its heart is a spectacular double-height living room with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling mountain views, alongside a generous dining area and fully equipped kitchen.

The main lodge accommodates up to 14 guests across six spacious ensuite bedrooms, including a contemporary dormitory ideal for children or groups of friends. An additional 80 m² annex apartment can accommodate up to six further guests or accompanying staff.

Extensive wellness and entertainment facilities make the chalet a destination in itself. Guests can enjoy an indoor swimming pool with swimming jet, 10-person sauna, fitness and massage room, library and games room, and private cinema with a 305 cm screen, 4K projector, Netflix, Apple TV and PlayStation 5. There is also a dedicated office for guests wishing to work during their stay.

Outside, extensive gardens and terraces make the most of the spectacular alpine setting. A secluded 14-person firepit overlooks the Mont Blanc massif, while a natural stone terrace provides space for outdoor yoga and Pilates. The grounds also feature a private climbing wall with 36 route variations and an impressive outdoor kitchen with gas and charcoal barbecues.

Service is tailored to each stay, from a fully catered chalet experience to a lighter, more flexible arrangement. Daily housekeeping, private chefs and concierge services can be provided, with the team able to organise airport transfers, restaurant reservations, ski passes, mountain guides, childcare, massage, yoga and other private experiences.

Despite its peaceful setting, the lodge offers easy access to everything Chamonix has to offer. Shops, cafés and restaurants are within walking distance, while ski areas, hiking trails, climbing, mountain biking and other alpine activities are close at hand.

Thoughtful practical features include an elevator serving all floors, step-free access, an accessible bedroom and bathroom, and a 15-person ski and boot room with equipment heaters. The chalet is equally suited to extended families, groups of friends and intimate corporate retreats.
