Many Chamonix chalets with a swimming pool have heated indoor facilities you can enjoy. Fit in a few lengths before breakfast, take the children for a swim in the afternoon or simply spend some time in the water when you’re ready to give the skiing a rest.
Some pools sit within larger private spa areas, with saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs nearby: no bag to pack or public opening time to check either. Simply head for the water whenever you fancy a change from the mountains.
